Blood Donation Campaign – Start 2026 by Saving Lives

Begin the new year with a meaningful act that truly saves lives. The Sarawak Blood Donor Society invites members of the public to take part in our Blood Donation Campaign on 17 January 2026, to be held at Merdeka Plaza Kuching from 10.00am to 3.00pm.

Blood donation remains a vital lifeline for patients requiring emergency treatment, surgeries, cancer therapy, and ongoing medical care. A single donation can save up to three lives, making your contribution invaluable to our community.

This campaign is jointly organised by the Sarawak Blood Donor Society (PPDS) and the Malaysian Red Crescent Society (Kuching Branch), with strong support from Hospital Umum Sarawak Blood Bank and the Ministry of Health Malaysia. We would also like to express our sincere appreciation to Plaza Merdeka for sponsoring the venue.

We warmly encourage healthy individuals aged 18 to 60 to come forward and donate blood. Your simple act of kindness can bring hope and a second chance at life to those in need.
