PPDS will be hosting a blood donation campaign on 15 August 2020 at Emart Tabuan Jaya ( Former Giant Hypermarket Tabuan Jaya) from 10 am to 3pm. donors are require to follow strictly on the the following guide line issue by the Ministry of Health Malaysia

PANDEMIC COVID-19 BLOOD DONATION GUIDELINES
The guidelines are to ensure the level of cleanliness and safety of health
workers and donors in particular and as a precautionary measure to
prevent the spread of the Covid-19 outbreak.
Standard Operating Procedure for the Blood Bank Sarawak General
Hospital for Mobile Blood Donation Campaign includes;
1. Body temperature checking for all health workers and blood donors
present. Individuals with temperatures above 37.5 degrees Celsius are
asked not to be present at the blood donation site.
2. Personal inquiries to the donor including background, travel history,
close contact and donor locality.
3. The process of disinfecting and disinfection of blood donation
equipment is performed regularly by health workers.
4. Hand Sanitizer is provided for the use by health personnel as well as
blood donors.
5. Face Mask is required for all attendees.
6. Further questions from our Medical Officer during the counseling
session to identify the donor are not exposed to any positive Covid-19
contacts.
7. Social Distancing will be practiced throughout the Blood Donation
Campaign.
8. Only four (4) donors are allowed to fill out a Blood Donation Form at
a time.
9. In the event of an unexpected response, the registration counter will
be closed to avoid congestion.
10. Cleanliness of the Blood Donation Campaign area will be prioritized
before and after the campaign.
The S.O.P compliance with the Mobile Blood Donation Campaign will
be adopted until further announcement by the Ministry of Health
Malaysia.

GARIS PANDUAN KEMPEN DERMA DARAH SEMASA PANDEMIK
COVID-19
Garis panduan ini adalah untuk memastikan tahap kebersihan dan
keselamatan kepada petugas kesihatan dan para penderma khususnya
dan sebagai langkah pencegahan penularan wabak Covid-19.
Prosedur Operasi Standard Tabung Darah Hospital Umum Sarawak
dalam mengadakan Kempen Derma Darah Bergerak merangkumi;
1. Pemeriksaan suhu badan kepada semua petugas kesihatan dan
juga penderma darah yang hadir. Individu yang mempunyai suhu
melebihi 37.5 darjah celcius diminta untuk tidak berada di lokasi
pendermaan darah.
2. Pertanyaan soalan oleh petugas kesihatan kepada penderma
meliputi latar belakang, sejarah perjalanan, kontak rapat dan
lokaliti penderma.
3. Proses nyah kuman dan disinfeksi terhadap peralatan derma
darah dilakukan dengan kerap oleh petugas kesihatan.
4. Sanitasi tangan (Hand Sanitizer) disediakan untuk kegunaan
petugas kesihatan dan juga penderma darah.
5. Pemakaian Pelitup Muka (Face Mask) diwajibkan kepada semua
petugas dan penderma yang hadir.
6. Soalan lanjutan daripada Pegawai Perubatan kami semasa sesi
kaunseling bagi mengenal pasti penderma tidak terdedah kepada
sebarang kontak positif Covid-19.
7. Penjarakan sosial (Social Distancing) akan dipraktikkan sepanjang
Kempen Derma Darah.
8. Hanya empat (4) penderma sahaja dibenarkan mengisi Borang
Derma Darah pada satu masa.
9. Sekiranya sambutan di luar jangkaan, kaunter pendaftaran akan
ditutup bagi mengelakkan keadaan sesak.
10. Kebersihan kawasan Kempen Derma Darah akan diutamakan
sebelum dan selepas kempen diadakan.
Pematuhan S.O.P Kempen Derma Darah Bergerak ini akan diguna
pakai sehingga pengumuman selanjutnya oleh Kementerian Kesihatan
Malaysia.
